The movie «Hot Seat» revolves around the nerve-wracking hostage situation of IT whiz Orlando Friar (played by Dillon). In this deadly cyber-theft plot, Friar finds himself unwillingly involved. He’s cornered in an explosive office chair connected to government servers and must quickly outwit the unknown villain controlling his fate and endangering both him and the city. Veteran bomb squad member Wallace Reed, portrayed by Gibson, steps in with determination to rescue Friar and ensure a successful resolution of the crisis.

In 2022, the film «Hot Seat» had a rather quiet debut, failing to create much of a stir in the cinemas where it was screened. Given Mel Gibson’s association with the project, which made some viewers hesitant, the movie was met with a frosty reception and seemed to disappear from the spotlight almost immediately after its release.
